About

Chartis Technology is an Australian-owned GIS and spatial software company based in Bathurst, NSW, with offices around Australia. We build practical software that helps local government, utilities and similar organisations map and manage their spatial data, meet legislative compliance and run full enterprise asset management. Our products include Pozi, a web-based GIS platform built on QGIS technology; Metrix Assets, our enterprise asset management platform; and Chartis Weeds, our weed inspection and compliance solution. Metrix Assets and Chartis Weeds are developed in house, and all use Open-Source dependencies and PostGres/ PostGIS databases. Beyond software, we work with councils through consulting, training and support, including training in QGIS, FME, PostGIS and SQL Server, backed by local support. We have grown the QGIS community in Australia. We are a QGIS Sustaining Member and active in the QGIS Certification Programme, with staff involved in QGIS development and OsGeo.
