About
Our mission is to help people connect with the power of open geospatial, and enjoy the freedom to engage with technology on their own terms. Established in Australia in 2019 by directors John Bryant and Cholena Smart, our distinctive name reflects our roots and ongoing connection to northern Canada. We are now based in Fremantle, Western Australia, operating across Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, and globally. Our focus areas: Training: we deliver tailored QGIS, PostGIS, Mergin and QField training, plus public QGIS workshops and specialised courses, such as QGIS for Mining and Exploration, and QGIS for Heritage. Consulting: we provide expert support for open source GIS workflows, helping organisations deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and scale their systems. Application development: we design and implement web-based open source GIS systems and applications for data management, visualisation, and reporting. Visit our website to learn more about the work we do.
