Stepping Stone Drone Surveys is a Fiji-based geospatial service provider specialising in UAV mapping, remote sensing, terrain modelling and spatial analysis. We support environmental, infrastructure, agriculture and community projects across Fiji and the Pacific. Our work combines drone imagery, RTK/GNSS field data and GIS to produce orthomosaics, digital terrain and surface models, point clouds, contours, multispectral assessments and mapping products for planning and decision-making. Open-source geospatial technologies are central to our workflow. We use QGIS, WebODM and CloudCompare for spatial analysis, photogrammetry, point-cloud processing, terrain modelling, quality control, visualisation and data delivery. Our goal is to provide practical, accurate and accessible geospatial solutions while supporting greater use of open-source GIS and remote sensing technologies across the Pacific.
